Library Giving Opportunities

A strong library system means a strong University. Your gift to NMSU Library impacts people and programs throughout the campus, community, and into the virtual world.

Library's Greatest Needs

Archives and Special Collections

Your support provides students with new and improved resources that support their academic success, including outreach programs, new technology, and enhancements to library classrooms and study areas. Funds are also used to purchase new collection resources and provide professional development opportunities for library staff.

The NMSU Library Archives and Special Collection houses a rich collection of local history that is nationally renowned for specific collections of interest. Including, but not limited to, papers of Fabian Garcia, National Agricultural Center's Hall of Fame, are housed here along with Tombaugh papers, who discovered Pluto!

Student Support

Giving Thanks

The NMSU Library student employees are the heart of everything we do in our daily operations. Your support in the form of scholarships and internships helps our student experience a rewarding enhancement as part of their work.

Making the impossible possible. Thank you for your continued support in many different ways:

  • Advocacy - In supporting Library Bond 3
  • Donation of Gifts in Kind - Monographs
  • Knowledge - We hold a Sunshine Event annually which helps to facilitate a conversation around a key topic
